(27) Thickness range Fillet:
Refer Table QW-451.4: Fillet weld
qualified by Groove-Weld Tests
Thickness T of test coupon (Plate or
Pipe) as welded: All groove tests
Range Qualified: All fillet sizes on
all base metal thickness and all diameters.
This means that all the fillet welds
can be welded of all sizes on all base material thickness using a WPS qualified
on groove. Fillet on all diameters can also be welded using a WPS qualified on
groove.
(28) & (29): Maximum pass
thickness ≤13mm : yes/no
This is included to note that if any
process is welded with more than 13mm thickness then the welder will be
qualified to unlimited thickness. No more significance is found in this matter.
