IQI's are available in different standards. The most common ones are ASTM and the DIN standard IQI's.
The ASTM wire type IQI's are available in 4 set's.
1. SET A
2. SET B
3. SET C
4. SET D
The DIN wire type IQI's are also available in 4 set's.
1. 1-ISO-7
2. 6-ISO-12
3. 10-ISO-16
4. 13-ISO-19
The main difference is that in each set of ASTM wire type IQI'S , 6 wires are available where in DIN type each 7 wires are available.

DeleteAs per Table T-276 of ASME BPVC Sec V; for 4mm, WireIdentity no:5(Source Side;0.20mm wire dia of ASTM set A ) and Wire identity no:4(Film Side; 0.16mm Wire dia of ASTm Set A) to be visible.
ReplyDeleteThe corresponding DIN wire IQI to be used. In this case Source side and Film side IQI are to be of 10 FE DIN if all the other essential parameters like Material, IQI refernce standard are same as discussed here.
