ANS:
That is the face width will be the same as thickness, including 2.5 to 3 mm gap. This is a thumb rule only.

ANS:
6 x d2, Where d is the diameter in inches, the result you will get will be in ton.
eg: 1" diameter rope = 6 x 12 =6MT capacity

Oxygen and Acetylene Cylinders
Acetylene becomes unstable above 15PSI, so we can see a red area marked on the regulators used with acetylene cylinder.
Oxygen hose - Green Colour; Acetylene hose - Red Colour
One litre of acetone will absorb 250litres of acetylene at a pressure of 10 bar.
Acetylene is less dense than air.
